BDSIP

Barking & Dagenham School Improvement Partnership (BDSIP) is a young, dynamic, not-for-profit 81% owned by local schools. BDSIP exists to ensure young people in Barking and Dagenham, particularly the most vulnerable, enjoy the best possible start in life. Working in one of London’s most deprived boroughs, we work directly with young people and with schools to drive school improvement, support the inclusion of children with additional educational needs, and raise each child’s aspirations for what they can achieve in life. We are proud that over 90% of our schools are now rated ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and are striving to ensure that all achieve ‘outstanding’. In the last 10 years we have also helped drive by far the biggest increase anywhere in London of young people continuing into higher education after school.
