Lily Beadle
Lily joins On Purpose (April 2020 cohort) following three years in the off-grid energy sector, working for BBOXX in their commercial team. She has a mixture of business development and product management experience, as well as a passion for tackling climate change. Witnessing the societal transformations generated by the introduction of leap-frogging energy products to developing countries cemented her desire to form an impact-driven career. At BBOXX, she introduced a new billing strategy for their industry leading SaaS platform and supported their expansion into 10 geographical markets. Prior to BBOXX, she was Chief Product Officer at Index.io and went through the Y Combinator accelerator programme. Lily also worked on a new growth programme for UCL’s deep-technology start-ups.
She has an MSci in Chemistry with Molecular Physics from Imperial College. Lily spends her free time at music gigs and climbing walls, and loves learning new skills.
