Ben Haber
Ben is Finance & Operations Director of Shift. As well as leading the finance and operations functions, he’s helping Shift to develop Their thinking around organisational design and funder-fundee relationships.
Ben is a chartered accountant, with experience across finance and accounting, project management, monitoring and evaluation, and social finance. Prior to joining Shift he lead the finance, operations and impact teams at a youth employability charity. Ben has also held finance roles in publicly listed companies and worked as a management consultant.
Ben has set up a social enterprise for public engagement projects and multi-stakeholder involvement and set up a social enterprise micro-hotel. He has completed the On Purpose programme for early-career professionals identified as future leaders in social enterprise, and is a trustee of Magic Me, the leading intergenerational arts charity.
Away from Shift, Ben loves climbing, coffee, craft beer and food and became a black belt in Taekwondo at 8 years old.
Ben holds a BA in History and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
