Borja Blanco Mendez

Moved by his passion for solving social and environmental problems, Borja studied Industrial Engineering to support innovation in the field of renewable energies. After graduating he worked as a management consultant, leading organizational transformations in over 20 companies across Spain. Then, he decided to forge his own path to supporting vulnerable populations; first volunteering in Indonesia, where he co-led the first steps of what would become East Bali Bamboo Bikes, and later co-founding crowdfinancing platform Flipsimply. He moved to London in January 2018, drawn by the opportunity to get involved in some of the most innovative social enterprises in the world.
