Caroline Wierzejska
Before joining On Purpose, Caroline was a Business Management Consultant working for a global technology company Accenture, developing operating models and business cases, designing and scaling new products and services as well as increasing organisations' operational efficiency through technology and change management. While in Accenture, Caroline sought out a secondment to the company's corporate social responsibility department to work on an international expansion of an online platform created to help address youth unemployment. She later managed the roll-out of the platform in Ireland through partnerships in the public and non-profit sectors. Innovation and human centred design are particular interest areas for Caroline. She completed a LUMA Institute Design Thinking Academy and Human Centered Design training by IDEO.org. She used a mixture of design thinking techniques, such as personas, journey mapping and creative matrixes with several nonprofit organisations to enhance their youth education programmes. Prior to Accenture, Caroline was self-employed, running an English language tutoring and translation business within a start-up accelerator. She also led a social enterprise society Enactus, delivering solutions aimed at addressing social issues in Cambridge, UK. Outside of work, Caroline enjoys good tea, mindfulness and dog walking. She holds a degree in Politics, Psychology and Sociology from the University of Cambridge.
