Alexia Sandano

Prior to joining On Purpose Lexie worked in some of New Zealand's leading corporate sustainability programmes as an Senior Sustainability Consultant at Air New Zealand, Mercury Energy and The University of Auckland. Lexie has also led the strategic partnerships portfolio as well as sponsorship and fundraising campaigns at WWF-New Zealand, one of the world's leading environmental charities. She has studied and worked globally, completing at Masters in Environmental Management and Policy at Lund University, Sweden, a conjoint bachelors degree in Geography and Environmental Sciences from Melbourne University, Australia and the University of British Columbia.

Outside of work Lexie enjoys yoga, volunteering at a community farm, and learning about triratna buddhism and meditation.Lexie speaks fluent Portuguese, and (some) Italian.
