Diagnosing and treating vision problems involves critical thinking and problem-solving. These skills are directly applicable to helping clients identify organisational challenges, areas for improvement, and understand the issues affecting their performance as a leader. These skills are crucial for helping clients think critically and creatively about their opportunity with change in the workplace.

Jasmine has had the opportunity to develop strong interpersonal skills through her experience with patients. These skills help build trust and rapport with her clients too, which is essential for effective coaching. Working with people from a wide range of diverse backgrounds means she is able to identify and address micro-inequalities that may exist within companies.

By utilising her experience in mediating patient concerns, Jasmine guides clients in developing a calm and systematic approach to conflict resolution, ensuring that disputes are managed constructively and that professional relationships are maintained and strengthened.

Optometrists adhere to strict ethical guidelines with professional bodies. This distinction is valuable in the way in which as a coach, Jasmine supports leaders to make decisions that are not only strategic but also ethically sound.
