Mark Wright

At Kimura Capital, Mark is responsible for the oversight of day to day operations, fund governance, service provider management and performs financial controls for the Investment Manager. Prior to joining Kimura in 2017 he worked at Standard Bank as head of product control for resource banking which included metals and energy trading as well as mining finance financial control. Following the merger of Standard Bank and ICBC in 2015, Mark Wright became Commodities COO of ICBC Standard Bank, responsible for day to day and forward looking business management of the Global Commodities business. Before that, he held various finance roles within the energy trading divisions of Williams Energy, Ernst and Young and Bank of America. He began his career in 1998 as a risk analyst at Enron. He is based in London.
