Peter Evans
Before joining On Purpose, Pete spend the last 9 years working for the relief and development charity Tearfund. In the first part of this time he worked to respond to humanitarian crises ranging from Ebola in West Africa, to conflict in Iraq, to cyclones in Zimbabwe and Mozambique. He then shifted focus slightly to work on addressing conflict and building peace in communities affected by violent conflict.
Pete is excited to be participating on the Associate programme with On Purpose, with the hope to learn and experience business and public sector approaches to social impact. He is passionate about seeing where different sectors can come together to have a greater collective impact.
Outside of work Pete loves playing and watching sport, and is an active member of his church community in King's Cross.
