The Climate Fresk
Climate Fresk is a French NGO, created in 2018 by Cédric Ringenbach. Its goal is to promote quality climate education thoughout the world, by spreading the Climate Fresk workshop, and training and upskilling facilitators . The workshop is a collective intelligence game, based on IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) reports, that enables everyone to understand the causes and consequences of climate change.
Climate Fresk is experiencing exponential growth: so far, over 300,000 people have participated in the workshop, and over 13,000 facilitators have been trained. The first million participants is expected to be reached in 2022. The NGO collaborates with educational institutions, organisations, public administrations and the general public.
Thanks to an amazing global community, the game has been translated in over 35 languages and is being played in over 50 countries around the world.
