James O'Day

James is the founder of Belflin, an advisory firm that works with investors and managers of growth-stage technology companies across strategy and operations. Previously, James was the COO of Pearlshare, an early-stage technology company in London. Prior to forming Pearlshare, he was a Project Leader in the London office of BCG, having joined the Melbourne office in 2005. At BCG James worked with clients across the UK, USA and Australia and focused on Health Care, Information Technology and Corporate Development. Prior to joining BCG, James worked with the Investment Banking Group of Macquarie Group, focusing on Principal Transactions and Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment & Technology (TMET). James has completed a MBA at INSEAD and also holds degrees in Commerce (Economics & Finance) and Science (Biochemistry & Molecular Biology) from the University of Melbourne.
