Louka Travlos

Louka is a teacher with 6 years’ experience in education and international programme management. He has supported start-up education initiatives across Europe, with Teach For All. Based in India for the last two years, he helped set up an ambitious teacher leadership development programme in Delhi; developing Teach for India's programme strategy, impact evaluation and organisational effectiveness. He worked on the ground with government and low-income private schools and led a team of Fellows to achieve significant classroom and leadership growth. He also led 13 staff and 88 new Fellows as Director for Delhi's training institute. Louka was a special education advisor with UK Department for Education and a Social Science teacher at Pimlico Academy. Prior to joining Teach First, he studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at University of Oxford.
