Mel Yap

Melanie has recently completed a MA at SOAS. Prior to her studies, she worked in the Pacific Section of the International Legal Assistance Unit of the Australian Attorney General’s Department and as a Child Protection Specialist with UNICEF Papua New Guinea. Since moving to London, Melanie has volunteered and interned at several organisations including the Institute of Human Rights and Business, Childreach International and Foodcycle. Melanie also holds a LLM from the Australian National University and a BA/LLM from the University of Western Australia.
