Alex Robinson

Alex joined On Purpose with over ten years' experience as an entrepreneur in the independent music industry. As founder and managing director of The Other Hand, a record label services and management company, Alex created and executed European sales, marketing, distribution and licensing strategy for some of the most respected US independent labels. Prior to that he established a European office for LA-based Stones Throw Records and led the company through its most successful period to date. Running his own company led Alex to explore values-led business, and ultimately to On Purpose. Alex has a first class degree in history from Oxford University.
