Charlotte Whittaker
Charlotte joined the On Purpose team in September 2024 with an exciting dual focus on the Associate Programme and organisational development. She loves the On Purpose model of creating change through transforming and equipping people to lead towards an economy that values purpose over profit.
Previously, Charlotte was the co-founder of InCommon, a charity and social enterprise bringing people together across the generations to build more connected, inclusive and age friendly communities. Since launching 7 years ago, InCommon has run projects bringing together over 2000 people of all ages to build meaningful relationships, learn and take action on social issues they care about. Charlotte remains a huge cheerleader of the team taking forward the vision there.
Along the way Charlotte has loved taking part in learning experiences for social innovators, from Year Here where InCommon was born, to the School of Social Entrepreneurs and Spring Impact, and is now excited to be part of creating this for others.
She is looking forward to applying her experience of co-leading a team, designing learning experiences and developing organisational strategy at On Purpose.
Charlotte is joining us energised from a sabbatical which included cycling on the Danube, walking in Devon, au pairing in France and a lot of journaling on long interrail journeys!
