Kate Gill
Kate joined On Purpose after 8 years in the advertising industry, primarily for luxury and beauty brands. Her role involved pitching, managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, campaign management, media planning, budget management, and client relationship management. She worked on several projects designed to measure and reduce carbon emissions of advertising campaigns, as well as working with organisations such as the Diversity Standards Collective to ensure brand communications were inclusive to intersectional audiences. Kate had always wanted to shift to into the social impact space, but this desire was solidified when realising that this type of work could be used to create positive social change, rather than purely profit.
Kate is an Ancient History graduate from the University of Exeter and has spent the last year upskilling in data analytics. She enjoys travelling, yoga, and vegan cooking, and is (not so) patiently waiting to adopt as many animals as she can fit in her flat.
