Leah Annett

Before joining On Purpose Leah helped launch Cause for Change, a company driven by a desire to address the lack of diversity and inclusion in the corporate giving sector. Here she worked on both sides of the fence; with businesses to help establish purpose-driven programmes (focused on impact); with non-profits to help build and scale their corporate offering (utilising lean methodology).

Prior to this, Leah spent 15 years in the media industry. The former part of her media career in print trading and investment, where her creative endeavors earned her a place in MediaWeek’s 30 under 30 ‘One’s to Watch’. She was responsible for developing a team of sixteen with an annual investment of £80 million. Leah spent the latter part of her media career in brand partnerships, creating multi-media campaigns, using everything from events, video and social, through to broadcast and emerging technologies. She has helped clients from across the product spectrum think creatively about marketing and communications, including iconic brands such as LEGO, Carlsberg, and Amazon. Leah was responsible for establishing and growing a new branded content division at Initiative and has received industry recognition for her work.

Leah holds a BSc in Geography from Sussex University and spends much of her spare time outside in nature, playing with her family, meditating, and developing energy awareness.
