Madelaine Wilson
Before coming to On Purpose, Madelaine was a partnerships manager at an energy technology company based in Toronto, Canada. She was introduced to the world of social entrepreneurship in university, during which she worked on a venture that created plastic, water, and product waste-free soap products while developing supportive employment opportunities for folks with developmental disabilities. Throughout her experiences in tech, start-up operations and community program management, she has always held a keen lens for the impact of decisions on people and the planet. Madelaine is deeply passionate about sustainable development and the future of social enterprise to solve complex problems. She is so thrilled to be joining the On Purpose Associates, partner organizations and community, learning from and working with amazing folks from across industries, on initiatives designed to do well and do good for years to come.
Outside of work, she enjoys travel, writing, running and music of many kinds. She loves being outdoors, namely to snowboard, canoe and camp when she can. Madelaine has a degree in Business & Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada, and spent some of her studies at Aarhus University in Denmark.
