Matt Jenkins
Before joining On Purpose Matt worked for 7.5 years at CIL, a strategy consultancy advising businesses and investors on strategy, proposition development, planning and investment. Example project objectives include commercial due diligence; assessing the viability of new products, revenue streams or markets and developing strategy and revenue models to optimise return on investment; understanding stakeholder needs and diagnosing an organisation's positioning with stakeholders; analysis of market drivers and trends; financial modelling and sensitivity analysis. His experience encompasses a broad range of sectors, with more recent focus on various services sectors such as skills & talent, energy, ESG and tech-led services. As well as overseeing projects day-to-day as senior project manager, as Associate Director he was also part of CIL's leadership team contributing to the ongoing running of the business through supporting sales and marketing, learning & development and general operations.
Matt has a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Oxford (New College). Outside of work, Matt enjoys playing competitive tennis, putting on music events and hiking in the mountains. He has volunteered for a number of organisations including the British Trust for Ornithology (conservation research) and The Access Project (tutoring students from disadvantaged backgrounds).
