Nicola Cont

Master in Material Engineering from the University of Trento, Italy. Started my career in the Netherland, first at DSM as a research fellow and later at GE Plastics as Product Development. I held the Project lead function of the GE Elfun foundation for the Dutch chapter from 2001 to 2006, helping set up and lead social engagement projects in the community. For the past 15 years, I have been with WL Gore & Associates in Munich, holding roles in supplier management, R&D Leadership and for the past years as a Technical Project Lead focus on sustainability. Since February 2022 I am a student at the Institute of Business Sustainability in Lucern, and plan to work in the sustainability field in the future. I am passionate about team dynamics, multiple stakeholder relations and developing lasting collaborations.
