Shirin Shah
Shirin has always been driven by making a difference which has been demonstrated through a number of voluntary roles from a young age. In particular, she is the co-founder of SASS, a grassroots community organisation that creates spaces for South Asian women to connect, learn and share their experiences. She was drawn to On Purpose for the opportunity to bring together the skills from her corporate career, and her passion from various voluntary roles, to build a career that aligns with her values. Shirin is a qualified solicitor, having started her career at an international law firm, where she assisted companies with their investments and acquisitions. More recently she was an in-house lawyer for a high growth biotechnology company. Outside of work, Shirin enjoys dancing, where she trains in a number of styles on a weekly basis. She also enjoys travelling, hiking and visits to the theatre or museum. She also volunteers her time as a trustee/advisor for other women-led organisations.
