Tim Segaller
Tim Segaller is a leadership and team coach & trainer, specialising in helping leaders and teams to stay resilient, inspired and connected, in the face of complex pressures and demands (www.risingminds.org.uk and www.timsegaller.co.uk). He has worked with clients in the private and public sectors – including finance, legal, health and housing. His coaching and training programmes are distinctive in their use of mindfulness to help people reach deeper resources of clarity, wellbeing and resolve – opening up simple, yet profound and lasting changes. Tim’s coaching and training approach with leaders and teams is founded on three cornerstones:
● Mental resilience: developing a steady mind in the face of stressful demands – for better focus, clearer thinking, and natural productivity
● Authentic leadership: reconnecting with personal and natural leadership capabilities, and true sources of inspiration and enjoyment at work
● Strong relationships: nurturing strong relationships, and developing a ‘co-active’ leadership and communication style that makes it easier to lead others and support their development
He also helps teams to function better when they aren’t working as an effective unit, or to avoid serious fragmentation at challenging times of major change or conflict.
Tim is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF) – the leading worldwide professional coaching body, and holds a Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching from Coaching Development. He’s also an accredited mindfulness trainer and workplace mediator. He is co-founder of Rising Minds (risingminds.org.uk) a coaching and mindfulness social enterprise, and author of ‘The ABC Guide to Mindfulness’. Prior to working as a coach and trainer, Tim’s background was in communications and project management in the private and third sectors, after gaining a First Class degree in Classics from Oxford University.
