William Russell
Before joining On Purpose, Will taught English in secondary schools in Salford and Hackney for 5 years, having trained through the Teach First program. While teaching, he led initiatives to increase parental engagement, diversify the English curriculum and promote student leadership and mentoring.
He is excited to join On Purpose to explore innovative solutions to societal inequalities and the climate crisis. He's interested in the role community and business has to play in facing these twin challenges.
Will holds an degree in English Literature and History from Edinburgh University and a PGDE from Manchester University.
