Edward Arden
Prior to joining On Purpose, Edward worked for four years at a leading global law firm. After qualifying as a solicitor he specialised in dispute resolution, with a particular focus on large scale professional negligence claims (accountancy). He also has experience of the UK insolvency and EU sanctions regimes. Before that he trained as a teacher and then taught for two years at a girls' secondary school. Edward's legal pro bono work includes drafting briefs for Reprieve (which represents British nationals on death row) and providing free legal advice through the CAB. In the field of education, he has worked as a teacher and co-ordinator for charities including the Access Project, the Latin Programme and the National Trust.Edward has an MA in Classics from Cambridge University, a PGCE from King's College London and an LLB from the University of Law.
