Francesca Pileggi
After finishing her MSc degree in Business Administration and Innovation Management in Rome, Francesca chose to move to Berlin in 2013 to start a career in the international Start Up world.
There she had the chance to work with different ventures; after starting at a small Business Angel firm as Business Development Manager, she moved to Rocket Internet, one of the biggest listed start up incubators, where she has been working for the past two years as Financial and Investment Controller.
Working simultaneously for ventures in different stages of maturity, she helped to set up finance processes, analyzed business performance, conducted monthly budget reconciliations and prepared liquidity forecasts. She was responsible for liasing with external Investors and participated in large due diligence and restructuring projects.
Her desire to join onPurpose is driven by the motivation to use her business development and finance skill set to support social enterprises in establishing and growing their businesses sustainably.
