Joe Murphy

Before joining On Purpose Joe qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young London, and more recently held finance and business analytics roles with PayPal and Telstra in Sydney, Australia. He also spent 6 months as interim finance manager for Restless Development in Sierra Leone. As a result, he has covered financial modelling, financial management and process improvement for a variety of organisations. Joe believes that private business has a positive role to play in society and sees working in the social enterprise sector as a way to contribute. Since graduating Joe has volunteered with a variety of charities and is currently providing voluntary consultancy services to a local children’s social services provider as well as working on some paid projects.
