Louise has a rich and diverse set of skills and experiences from 20 years in the private sector, public and not for profit sectors. In April 2017 she becomes CEO at SGOSS – Governors for Schools, which recruits skilled business professionals to be governors of schools in England. Most recently she was Business Development Director at LEYF, the London Early Years Foundation, where she grew their nursery portfolio from 24 to 38 nurseries. At LEK Consulting, she gained a strategy consulting skill set, which includes market and financial analysis, due diligence on acquisition targets and strategic reviews. She worked for the global retailer Tesco for 6 years, developing and delivering change programmes across stores, distribution and commercial functions, including in the supply chain to reduce carbon emissions. Prior to Tesco, she was in the Enterprise Team at the UK Government Treasury. She has also led UnLtd South Africa in Cape Town, a non profit organisation which support social entrepreneurs, and has worked with Boston based venture philanthropy fund New Profit. Louise was a trustee of UnLtd UK for 4 years. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MChem from Oxford University.
