Mark Tran

Mark started off working within the treasury team of an investment bank structuring institutional banking products. Following this he worked as a commercial adviser within the procurement team of an insurer, contributing to the supplier engagement strategy. More recently he spent one and half years working in Mongolia and Australia in the microfinance sector. In 2016 Mark joined on Purpose. His first placement was at Big Society Capital where he project managed a programme to engage and assist companies to make investments that generate profit while achieving social impact. In his second placement at NHS NEL CSU he worked on a variety of children’s mental health projects including a national evaluation of innovative models of care that could be replicated across the UK. Mark holds a double degree in Actuarial Science and Applied Finance.
