Nadim Choucair
Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Nadim moved to Canada in 2006 and completed his
bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering in 2009. He worked as an innovation consultant, mostly
helping SMEs to access public funding programs.
He later pursued his studies a dual MBA and MALD (MA in Law & Diplomacy) from IE Business
School in Madrid, and the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts university. At Fletcher,
he wrote his capstone about the use of design thinking to help achieve the SDGs.
Since then Nadim works full time at etventure in partnerships and ecosystem building, while
continuing his involvement at the intersection of design thinking, SDGs and sustainability.
Nadim is an unleash SDG Talent (Global Lab for SDGs, have a look!) and gave various versions
of this workshop at the World Design Summit in Montreal, the SenseCamp and the ToolFest in
Berlin, as well as at the Global Sustainability, Technology and Innovation conference in
Brussels (G-STIC).
He also organized the Global Goals Jam Berlin and is building a community around the SDGs in Berlin.
