Susannah Davis

Before her journey with On Purpose began, Susannah spent six and a half years with Waitrose, the John Lewis Partnership. She started on the Graduate Scheme and then progressed into the Deputy Branch Manager role, working in seven different branches and leading teams of up to 250 people to achieve the business plan. Her accountabilities included branch Profit and Loss, risk and compliance management and personal development of the management team. Susannah also project managed three branch refurbishments during her time with Waitrose, from design stage through to review. Susannah now wants to use her business knowledge for social gain, and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. She believes that an integrated society is a stronger and more understanding one. Outside of work, Susannah volunteers at Amber Crisis Pregnancy Care, supporting women with unplanned pregnancy. Susannah holds a BA in Modern Foreign Languages (German and Italian) from Durham University. In her free time, she likes to cook and travel.
