On-Purpose

Lydia Stevens

Lydia is an executive coach, thinking partner and connector. She works with purpose driven businesses, charities, teams and individuals to find the spark that we all have within us to contribute small or large steps to a sustainable world. In this fast changing world, she believes coaching is the ideal way to collectively rise up to the challenges faced by the planet and embrace uncertainty. There is potential all around us if we are ready to find it.

Lydia enjoys working across cultures and contexts locally and globally to co-create a different paradigm which learns from the past to build a sustainable, regenerative and more equitable future. Lydia is a natural connector, and works in partnership to co-develop and create passion, energy and small and large steps forward in the interest of all. She is an optimist who believes risk and challenge is part of the process of finding new opportunities and partnerships.

Lydia is values driven, and helps others to highlight what they value most and how this can drive their energy and the best version of themselves. Her coaching experience includes international and sustainable development, CEO and leadership coaching, start-up businesses, careers, confidence in the workplace and being a sounding board for those at the top of an organisation who rarely receive feedback. She is a strong networker and has demonstrated experience in forming partnerships to achieve greater collective results. Her coaching style generally challenging and direct; using tools derived from positive psychology she brings empathy and support when required. Her entrepreneurial and senior executive and board level experience enable her to know which questions to ask to help others learn.

Lydia loves nature and is concerned to adapt behaviours and take responsibility at all levels to address the climate emergency. Social, gender and equity are integral to Lydia's values and formed a main part of her focus as a consultant. She is multi-lingual and has worked in many countries with a variety of private, governmental and voluntary organisations. She is a mother, wife, step-grandmother and businesswoman.
