Sophia Binder

Before joining OnPurpose Sophia spent 5 years working for GLG, the worlds largest expert and insight network. Here, she was focused on working with clients in the financial sector on primary research, portfolio management, and early stage due diligence projects. Sophia is also passionate about people leadership and, as well as her client work, is experienced in developing trainings, and launching personal and professional development initiatives. Her work with Social Impact Fellows within GLG is what spurred her on to joining the OnPurpose program. Prior to GLG, Sophia worked as a Copywriter and Executive Assistant in New York City, and previously studied Literature at the University of Warwick. Sophia is German, and has lived in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, New York, Munich, and Vienna, before finding herself in North London. She believes unequivocally in the role and influence of global business in creating a fairer, cleaner, and more productive economy, and is excited to get stuck in to the conversation on how all businesses can be a force for good.
