Tatwin Owen Edmunds
Tatwin is a zoologist by heart who has spent ten years working abroad as a recruiter, consultant, business owner and editor.
He joins On-Purpose after living for six years in Myanmar where he set up Myanmar Con Yat Company Ltd (MCY): A Human Resource (HR) consultancy specialising in HR management, payroll and training services. MCY saw growing and supporting the skill development of Myanmar's workforce as a social obligation, rather than a business one. It worked with companies to improve HR governance particularly in the garment industry.
After selling the business in 2019, Tatwin has moved back to the UK to pursue his interest in conservation and the natural environment, specifically the blue economy, critically endangered species and social enterprises that champion preservation of threatened ecosystems.
Tatwin has a BSc in Zoology from Bristol University.
