Naseer Chia

Naseer is a qualified lawyer, and has worked in both the UK and Switzerland advising governments, NGOs, banks and multinational companies on both contentious and regulatory issues. In his 4 years of legal experience, Naseer built up an extensive pro bono practice, working with organisations like Lawyers Without Borders, Fair Trials International, and the Royal Courts of Justice's Citizens Advise Bureau. Naseer has lived in Singapore, South Korea and Indonesia and has spent time in Ghana as a volunteer teacher. Beyond the day job, he is passionate about education and gender equality and is currently involved with One Degree and the Great Initiative - two wonderful charities working in those spaces. Naseer graduated with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University, and has recently completed an MSc in Global Governance and Ethics at University College London, where his research focused on the intersection of climate change and human rights, and the role of business in tackling public good deficits. He can often be found lamenting the form of his beloved West Ham United or at the front at one of London's fantastic gig venues.
