Andrew Levitt
Andrew is responsible for investments into Social Impact Bonds, at Bridges Ventures. He manages Bridges’ portfolio of 14 Social Impact Bonds, and is responsible for investing the £25m Bridges Social Impact Bond Fund.
Andrew previously worked for MicroCred Groupe (an international microfinance equity fund), initially as Group Strategy Director, and subsequently as CEO of MicroCred Banque Madagascar, where he led a successful performance turnaround for the fund’s largest portfolio company.
Prior to his work in social investment, Andrew spent 8 years in the UK banking and insurance industry delivering mergers, de-mutualisations, and major operational restructuring programmes.
Andrew has also worked as a strategy consultant for McKinsey and Company. He read Mathematics and Philosophy at Oxford, and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
