Caroline Arnold

A passion for the environment is at the core of Caroline’s career, which has taken in roles as University Lecturer and Researcher, Director of a Charity on the Thames, Director at Kent County Council and Defra Advisor. For the last 3 years she has led The Commonwork Trust in Kent. The organisation owns an organic farm and extensive rural estate with sustainability at its heart and a commitment to promote sustainability, outdoor learning and provide programmes to support young people who are facing challenges. Caroline is very keen to grow Bore Place as a sustainable business, inspire and develop young people, as well as be ‘a place where our staff and volunteers can learn, grow and be inspired.’
