Clemence Billoud
Prior to joining On Purpose, Clémence was co-directing the Haiti country office of Heartland Alliance, an international charity. She was there for two years, managing child protection and women’s leadership programmes, as well as working on fundraising and supporting her team to create a local, Haitian-led women’s empowerment organisation. Previously she worked as a consultant and researcher for IOD PARC, advising clients such as Plan International, the Gates Foundation and the African Development Bank on organisational strategies, and conducting fieldwork in Rwanda, Burkina Faso, and Tunisia. Clémence originally studied Politics and Sociology at the University of Sheffield before completing a Masters in Development Management at the London School of Economics.
