Our purpose is to bring together resources, insight and people so that communities can thrive. We: • Work with partners to develop and deliver community engagement programmes which mobilise communities and get them talking • Apply our expertise in getting resources and support to where it is most needed through grant programmes and networks • Act as an honest broker between different sectors and interests in communities and use the insights of this work to understand communities and encourage further action • Carry out research to generate evidence to influence practice, policy and legislation to bring about positive change in people’s lives
