Alison Glossop
Before joining On Purpose, Alison held editorial project management roles at Bloomsbury Publishing and at Cancer Research UK where she led the annual publications suite working closely with the executive team.
Most recently, she was Managing Editor for start-up children's publisher What on Earth Books. There, she was responsible for overseeing the creative team, project managing books from conception to print, and developing systems and processes to enable company growth. Alongside her publishing career, Alison has fundraised for numerous charities, volunteered with food waste charity Fareshare and interned with the Sustainability team at the University of Greenwich.
She joined On Purpose hugely excited to learn, and explore her interests and further opportunities within the social and environmental impact space.
Alison studied for an MA in Publishing at City University London and a BA in English and French at the University of Warwick, and as part of her degree spent a year abroad teaching in France.
