Ali Norrish

Ali joined the On Purpose Core team in October 2022 as Programme Delivery Manager, taking on the role of organising a world-class learning programme in impact and leadership for our London cohorts.

Before joining On Purpose, Ali created the young people’s programme and led research at Economy, a charity on a mission to democratise economics and make sure no one is cut out of the conversation about their future. Ali is fascinated by the social interactions we have around the ideas and institutions of Economics, about the phrase ‘the economy’’s role as the ‘deep narrative’ of our time, and how economics can become a tool for humans. She’s passionate about designing learning experiences which support mental health, agency and change.

She joined On Purpose as our work feels like a vital systems intervention: shifting talented thinkers and doers out of the private sector into impact-driven roles. Three strange loves of Ali’s are sweeping with a broom, gnomic greetings cards, and the round internet cat Pusheen.
