Andrea Berkeley
Andrea has twelve years' experience as a senior executive coach and leadership consultant, working across a wide range of sectors and contexts, following a distinguished career in education system and social enterprise leadership. Her most recent leadership role was Development Director at Ambition School Leadership, a post she held for six years, designing the leadership curriculum and helping the directorate grow the programme nationally.
Andrea trained on the Tavistock Executive Coaching programme (EQA Senior Practitioner), following initial training at the Work Foundation, UCL, and NCSL. Her approach is psychodynamic and systemic and she takes great pleasure in combining her depth of understanding about people, interpersonal relationships and group dynamics to help professionals develop the insight and confidence to maximise their potential in ways they hadn't anticipated possible.
She has successfully coached a wide range of CEOs and senior executives in financial services, international development, renewable energy, executive search, logistics, publishing, film making, and social care, and extensively in education. Her international work includes Russia, Sweden, Singapore and the USA. Andrea is an associate coach and consultant with Heresy Consulting, where she has worked on leadership development and coaching programmes for top executives of a global bank and a private university and a senior adviser with RSAcademics, working on CEO recruitment and leadership consultancy.
