Jawad Anjum

Jawad come from a background in Mechanical Engineering where he worked for an Energy contractor for five years.

He has experience in project management, construction, design and specialist engineering consulting. Throughout this period, he worked in a wide range of sectors ranging from the pharmaceutical and biomass to nuclear and oil and gas. Jawad studied at Trinity College Dublin and completed postgraduate studies at the University of Manchester.

Throughout his studies and working life, he was volunteered as an activist for various organisations such as Amnesty International in Dublin and Global Justice Now in the Glasgow where he has campaigned on numerous issues of human rights and social and political justice.

In his spare time, Jawad enjoys philosophy, literature, politics, music and film.
