Katherine Oliver
Katherine has spent 12 years working as a researcher, facilitator and evidence-led strategist in consumer insight consultancies. Here she designed and led complex qualitative and quantitative research projects, which uncovered insights into people and their needs, and applied these to meet organisations’ strategic priorities across product and service innovation, customer experience, brand and communications. This has given her a deep understanding of what’s needed for organisations to influence people’s thoughts and actions and really make a difference.
She has volunteered extensively with charities that counteract social inequalities and isolation, from mentoring young people via The Prince’s Trust to set up businesses, to coaching people in digital skills with Hestia and connecting with older adults at South London Cares social clubs.
She is also a trustee at the Cassandra Centre, a local Domestic Violence charity.
In her spare time, she can be found realigning on a yoga mat, expanding her plant-based recipe repertoire, or learning to dance lindy hop. Katherine has a degree from Oxford University in Classics, studying a course designed for those who hadn’t learnt Classics at school.
