Lydia Garratt
Lydia joined On Purpose following 5 years of working in financial services, where she specialised as a Charities Investment Manager. Lydia studied Politics at Durham University before beginning a career within investment. She joined the Evelyn Partners graduate scheme and special in charities management while focussing on sustainable investments. During her time at the company Lydia ran portfolios for charities, high net worth individuals, and pension funds and created the firm's first gender focussed investment portfolio. Alongside her role Lydia was a driver for gender equality and social mobility within the industry, founding the Talent of Tomorrow committee which aimed to improve both of these issues through events and work experience programmes. Lydia has been a mentor at the Girls' Network since 2018 and is an active supporter of the charity and power of mentorship. Lydia is thrilled to be joining the On Purpose programme and to move into a career that aligns with her values and creates a more equitable world.
