Lynn Lee

Driven by a desire to create positive impact in the society and environment around her, Lynn has spent most of her career in the Singapore public service. Her time at the Ministry of Communications and Information sharpened her skills in people-focused engagement and storytelling. Thereafter, she continued to build her experience in communicating complex and environmentally focused concepts at Singapore's National Water Agency.

Eager to dig deeper into the different methods of creating impact, Lynn then spent a year as a freelance writer for a climate tech startup in London, while teaching yoga and travelling. This unconventional period reinforced her beliefs in the power of authentic connection, whether through breath and movement in yoga, or through learning a new language. It was at this point that she decided to embark on the On Purpose Associate Programme, in order to connect with the wider impact community and to be a part of something larger than herself.

Nurtured by a liberal arts education as part of the pioneering cohort of Yale-NUS College, as well as a Masters in Comparative Literature from UCL, Lynn has a strong inclination for interdisciplinary work. She is excited to use this approach to better understand and solve complex issues such as those related to the climate.
