Rupal Chavda
Rupal is a purpose driven individual, motivated by the intricate relationship between social justice, climate change and humanity. She was drawn to the On Purpose Associate Programme by the opportunity to add value to society through her professional career and be part of a larger movement of positive change.
Prior to the On Purpose programme, Rupal worked in commercial finance within a large media company. After graduating with a degree in Mathematics with Economics, she went on to complete her ACA qualification via a graduate scheme with PwC across Audit and Forensics. Here, she had the opportunity to work across many industries, allowing her to understand how various businesses work and the challenges they face.
Outside of work, Rupal enjoys spending time with her friends and family, preferably in the great outdoors! During the first lockdown in 2020, Rupal purchased a sewing machine and began creating repurposed fusion South Asian outfits, a passion that she has continued since. Rupal is passionate about sustainable fashion and food production and is looking forward to continuing her learning journey within the environmental and social impact space with The B Team and Loowatt through the On Purpose programme.
