Samantha Gibbins

Samantha has joined the On Purpose programme because she believes in having a positive impact in her community and wants to build a more hopeful future for people and planet.

In her career to date, Samantha has worked at a large food manufacturing company in a variety of roles across, packaging, product and process development, quality management and most recently project management. Through this experience she has loved the breadth of responsibility and working collaboratively, whilst building a strong base of transferable skills: engaging with a wide stakeholder network, managing numerous teams and complex projects, and dealing with ambiguity.

Alongside work Samantha has been part of building a community led solution to the climate crisis, setting up a Climate Emergency centre in the local high street and with her passion to empower young women, she is also a mentor for the Girls' Network.

In her spare time Samantha enjoys keeping active through dance, self-defence and open water swimming.
