Femke van der Veer
Femke van der Veer is a management consultant, creative facilitator, coach and university lecturer. She focuses on helping people, teams and organisations move in new directions and proactively shape their future. In the past twenty years, Femke has happily zigzagged between corporate capitalism and the non-profit world. She has worked with multinationals like Unilever, Nestle, KLM-Air France and Philips, as well as with non-profits like Virgin Unite and BIS Life, and numerous start-ups. Femke is a lecturer at the Mountbatten Institute where she teaches the course ‘Leadership & Organisational Behaviour’ to MBA students, and a guest lecturer for the course ‘Creativity & Entrepreneurship’ at the University of Surrey. Prior to this, Femke worked for Orange, where she was a senior manager in the Imaginarium; Orange’s creative think tank, responsible for defining the group-wide Orange vision and strategy. She also lived in El Salvador and Kenya where she worked for local development NGOs. Femke has an MSc Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD.
