Impact Management Project
Everything we do affects people and the planet. Managing impact means figuring out which effects matter, and then trying to prevent the negative and increase the positive. The Impact Management Project is a collaborative effort by over 700 organisations, from different disciplines and geographies, to agree on shared fundamentals for how we talk about, measure, and manage impact, and therefore our goals and performance Funded by a diverse group of foundations, government agencies, asset managers and fund managers (such as the Omidyar Network, Ford Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, PIMCO, LeapFrog), the Impact Management Project (IMP) is building global consensus for how corporates and investors manage their social and environmental impact. Since 2016, the IMP has brought together 1,000 organisations, from Acumen to BlackRock, to develop a set of shared fundamentals for impact management.
