Sapana has recently launched Smart Egg (www.smarteggHQ.com) - a company focused on helping women, who want a baby one day but not right now, proactively engage with their fertility. They are tackling this through three products 1) information nights & sources, 2) early fertility testing and 3) fertility coaching. Many young women start making decisions around their fertility in a vacuum of information because of fear, stigma and a lack of information. They want to change that. Before that, Sapana worked at McKinsey focusing predominately on healthcare. Then after a brief stint working for the controller of Business Strategy at the BBC, she joined Bill Clinton's NGO (CHAI) to help developing countries' governments increase their number of healthcare workers. Her last job was heading up Business Development for Sleepio (www.sleepio.com - now called Big Health) - a health tech start up delivering online, animated therapy to people with insomnia. Last year she founded a healthcare consultancy, Health + More (www.healthandmore.org), that works with the NHS and health tech start ups on strategic issues. Her main project is focused on building strategic and quality improvement capabilities within primary care organisations in London.
